Data Visualization

Here is a short article, or opinion piece, on if data visualization is art. The author says, "The obvious answer here is that data visualizations can be art. They share similar processes to art creation, and they are viewed in a similar manner." Would you eat Fukushima soup? Two brothers cooked up soup using ingredients from Fukushima, Japan and served it at the Frieze Art Fair. According to CNN, "Frieze opens its doors for the 12th year this week, with 162 galleries from 25 countries rubbing shoulders under a massive new tent designed by Universal Design Studio." At this year's<strong><a href='http://friezelondon.com/' target='_blank'> Frieze Art Fair</a></strong> in London, soup was being cooked and handed out. But this was no ordinary soup. It's an installation by two Japanese artists called The United Brothers, and was made with ingredients from Fukushima. Would you try it?
